The Wilson Residents and Ratepayers' Association (WRRA) was founded in 1979; and incorporated in 1989. It is a non-political, non-sectarian and non-profit organisation.

The groups' objectives are:

1. To bring about civic improvement in the area.
2. To co-operate with any other association or body whose objectives are similar to the objectives of this association.

The WRRA would like to acknowledge the  of City of Canning  through the Community Partnership Fund which covers (in-part) the cost of Wild Apricot’s membership management software;  an important tool for WRRA to manage all aspects of communication with the membership
